Retreat GuestA Magical Stay in the Arabian Room – Meka Guest House, Giza I had the absolute pleasure of spending three nights in the Arabian Room at Meka Guest House in Giza. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. Meka and his wife Hollie at Meka Guest House went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. Nothing is too much trouble and you are very much encouraged to treat this as your home. The Arabian Room itself was a beautiful blend of comfort and traditional charm. The decor was elegant and thoughtfully curated—rich colors, intricate patterns, and cozy furnishings that created a warm, inviting ambiance. The room was impeccably clean, well-equipped with a fridge and en-suite shower and surprisingly peaceful considering how close it is to the heart of Giza. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the rooftop view. Watching the sun set behind the Pyramids while sipping tea was nothing short of magical. I left Meka Guest House feeling rested, inspired, and deeply appreciative of the kindness and care I received. I wholeheartedly recommend Meka Guest House to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Giza.

Artist GuestThis is the place to be, having an Egyptian and English host, offers the very best you could wish for. Detailed knowledge of Egyptology, and a breathtaking view of the pyramids from the spacious roof top garden area. The pyramids are so close you can almost touch them. Truly magical place, beautifully furnished. Can’t recommend enough.
